Statue of Ganesh has been made by the process of sand casting in Nepal. The weight of this statue is 4.52kg and the size is 23.5 x 16 x 18.5cm. The material used to make this statue is brass.
Ganesh is one of the major gods in Hinduism, the god Ganesh, or “Ganesha” is the god of harvest, traders, generally fertility, education, and prudence, the patron of schools and knowledge workers.
Recognizable to his elephant head, he is undoubtedly the most revered god in India and beyond. He is the son of Shiva and Parvati.
The legend says that the god Shiva his father had gone to war well before his birth. When he returned, he noticed that his wife, Parvati, had given birth to a boy.
Furyful, the god Shiva thought that Parvati had deceived him with another man. He cut off Ganesh’s head immediately. But Parvati explained to him that he had gone more than 9 months to the war and that this son was good of him. Remorseful, Shiva cut off his head.
